How do I know my water is safe?

The water provided to Water on Tap customers is tested by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) following guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The results are summarized in a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). You can download the CCR on our website HERE.

Why does my water have a brown tint?

Your water may appear brown after minerals and sediment are stirred up in the water mains. This can be caused by a water main break, hydrant flushing, or during periods of low water use or after pipe repairs. To resolve this problem turn on a faucet and allow the cold water to run for a few minutes.
